What to ask after seeing a production company's big-brand work
A recognisable brand can help you find an appealing style. It does not explain which parts of the production a particular company delivered. Review the finished film alongside the team's actual responsibilities.

A recognisable brand can help you find an appealing style. It does not explain which parts of the production a particular company delivered. Review the finished film alongside the team's actual responsibilities.
Ask about the work behind the credit
Who developed the concept? Who produced the shoot, directed, filmed, edited or handled visual effects? Different collaborators can legitimately feature the same film while having very different experience.
Watch the complete version where available and ask for information that can be shared with permission. Relate that experience to the difficult parts of your own brief.
Keep the comparison practical
Ask which relevant tasks the proposed team handled, who would work on your project, what can be shown publicly and how an unfamiliar technical challenge would be tested.
Confidentiality may limit the material a company can share. In that case, discuss the process and evaluate an appropriate test without demanding private client files. Clear responsibilities make the portfolio more useful than brand recognition alone.
