Reviewing character consistency in an AI commercial

A character's identity can drift between shots even when each individual image looks convincing. Test consistency across the actions and angles the story actually needs.

Define what must remain recognisable

Agree the face, clothing and other relevant details before production. Then test difficult movement, changes of angle and interactions, rather than approving the entire film from a single character still.

Log problems by shot and frame range. Distinguish an intentional expression or lighting change from an altered face, outfit or body relationship.

Review twice: details and sequence

First compare representative frames against the approved reference. Then watch the sequence continuously to judge whether the audience experiences the character as the same person.

Keep an alternative method available for shots that cannot maintain the required consistency. This might involve different framing, filmed material or another production approach. The aim is to preserve the story and the approved identity, rather than forcing every shot through the same tool.
